This blog was created as a resource for emergency medicine residents and physicians with a focus on MSK and orthopedic emergencies.
Blog entries are created by residents from the McGill CCFP-EM program and are reviewed by myself and several contributors.
I am a CCFP-EM trained emergency physician working at a McGill University affiliated community hospital. Our hospital receives a high volume of adult and pediatric orthopedic cases as well as trauma.
Dr. Robin Nathanson (CCFP-EM) and Dr. Daniel Abourbih (FRCP-EM) contribute at times to the review of articles. Dr Abourbih has also completed a fellowship in sports medicine.
Other contributors include Dr. Alexis Rousseau-Saine, a senior orthopedics resident at the University of Montreal.
Finally, Leila Rached creates unique illustrations for our blog. She is currently a medical student at McGill University and has a background in architecture.
